Here is a little about my company. A brief history, and explanation of why we are here online today. Showyard Web Design started when needed a web site built for a landscaping business I started in 2006. I wanted a quick web presence, and a way to advertise. I wanted to get my name out quick, and target my potential customers.
The site showed excellent results quick, and generated a few good contacts within the first few days. Due to commitments made early on, I had to start turning customers away by midsummer. From there we got a lot of response about the graphics that I had put on my site. The following winter I took some web design courses, and started building a few web sites for friends and family.
In the summer of 2008 I turned the hobby into a business, and have been building sites whenever I have had time. My goal has always been to make money doing something that I enjoy, and this is a perfect fit. I like to be creative, and make my customers happy.
Getting my business online quick, and effective advertising were two important features that I wanted to create. I was very successful with that. I would like to help you with getting your business off the ground, or noticed online. Weather you have a current successful business, or want to start one, I can help. Most people that are good with a computer could build their own site. But the fact is that not everyone can build a site that will get the correct results. You not only want a site that is effective when it is seen, but a site that gets noticed by search engines such as Google.
I will not bore you with all the gibberish that a lot of my friends do. I don't like that anymore then you do. I will tell you that there are tricks to getting a web site noticed, and that there are tricks that businesses can do to make a site more successful. Search engines like Google, and Yahoo do not work by chance, nor are they easy to understand. That is why they have advanced programmers working for them. There however are some techniques that work to get a site to show up on the searches that you want your site to show up in.
